We never left Pietrasanta, even in 2020 when travelling was so difficult. This year, we are back with a full program of 10 concerts, with marvelous Italian and foreign musicians.
Pianists will take center stage, with the two and only Labèque sisters presenting music by Schubert and Philip Glass; Andrea Lucchesini for the first time in our festival; Alexei Botvinov coming all the way from Odessa Ukraine; Roberto Prosseda and Alessandra Ammara, united on stage and in Tuscany where they live; the returning Argentinian phenomenon Karin Lechner and of course the legend, Boris Berezovsky. Bruno Fontaine, pianist, composer and arranger, completes this impressive line up for 2021 with his "Swing on the Versiliana"!
As always, chamber orchestras will be showcased, with international soloists such as Andrea Griminelli, Jing Zhao, Pierre Genisson, Giuseppe Nova among others.
For the first time as well, Daniel Hope will appear in Pietrasanta, with a program of baroque music titled " Air", that is will lift you off your feet!
2021 being the centennial of the birth of Astor Piazzolla, we will present a unique tribute to him, composed and arranged by Jorge Bosso, that will take us from La Pampa in Argentina to Napoli and Diego Maradona in Italy. Not to be missed, a world première!
Please join us in the great acoustics of our Chiostro in Pietrasanta.
Live music is back, Life is back !
You have a choice of buying your tickets(s) either online or from one of the points of sale in Pietrasanta. You may prefer the online option if you are planning your evening(s) ahead of time or if you are simply not based in Pietrasanta. And of course it’d guarantee your attendance as the cloister has a limited number of seats, in particular during these challenging times.
The enthusiasm of our public has been great over the years, and its support allows us to survive and prosper.
Once again this year, the Festival will feature world class artists, and needless to say, your support will be of utmost importance to decide the future of the Festival.
