Eleonora De Poi graduated in 2016 at the A. SteffaniConservatory of Castelfranco Veneto under the guidance ofMichele Lot and Stefano Pagliari with 10, honors and specialmention. She graduated brilliantly from the Bachelor in ViolinPerformance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with IlyaGrubert and Maria Milstein as teachers. In 2020 she got anothermaster degree in Viola with full marks at the "B. Maderna"Conservatory of Cesena. She studied Chamber Music with Domenico Nordio, Filippo Faes, Trio di Parma and Frank van de Laar. She has participated inseveral Masterclasses with various important teachers includingGiovanni and Federico Guglielmo, Fabian Rieser, Pierre Amoyal, Pavel Vernikov, Eliot Lawson, Yair Kless, Svetlana Makarova, IgorVolochine, Anna Serova, Markus Placci, Richard Wolfe, FrancescoDe Angelis and Petr Pavlov. Eleonora has won several national and international competitionsboth as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles. She has also performed as a Principal and Tutti both as a Violinand as a Viola in various orchestras: Central European Orchestra"Lorenzo Da Ponte", Venice Chamber Orchestra, Baroquip, Sweelinck Orchestra, Amsterdam Conservatory Orchestra, "Arrigoni" String Academy, Vienna Walzer Orchestra of Shanghai, Olympic Theater Orchestra of Vicenza (OTO), Youth Orchestra ofTrentino, LaFil of Milan, La Fenice Orchestra. With theseorchestras she has played in important concert halls including: Wiener Konzerthaus, Royal Concertgebouw, TivoliVredenburg inUtrecht, Muziekgebouw in Eindhoven, Bernard Haitinkzaal inAmsterdam, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Teatro dal Verme, Palazzo Vecchio "Salone dei Cinquecento" in Florence . In 2021 Eleonora achieved great results: she was admitted to theNational Academy of Santa Cecilia in the Advanced Course inChamber Music as TulipDuo with the pianist Massimiliano Turchi; she has won two auditions as viola tutti for the ORT (RegionalOrchestra of Tuscany) and Versilia orchestras; she also won theplace of Principal Viola at the Este Symphony Orchestra of Ferrara; she won a scholarship from the Perugia Chamber Orchestra as thebest new graduate in Viola, and finally she was awarded a ViolaSderci from the Adriana Verchiani Farulli Collection whichbelonged to M Piero Farulli. In 2022 she was first eligible for the competition for Principal Violaat the Friuli Venezia Giulia Orchestra and currently shecollaborates as Assistant Principal Viola at the La FeniceOrchestra of Venice. During the year she was also a finalist as theonly Italian in the "Anton Rubinstein" International Competition forViola Soloist, and ended up on the cover of Amadeus magazinefor the creation of a CD with Federico Guglielmo. With the TulipDuo, she obtained the Second Prize at theInternational Chamber Music Competition "G. Rospigliosi" andperformed at the Teatro Ristori in Verona, at the Sala Darsena inLignano and in the Sale Apollinee of the La Fenice theatre. Eleonora plays an ancient Italian violin of the 1700s from the Mantuan school. Price of the young Italian talent 2022.
